How to use Mantis (BugTracker) as an End User

published on Oct 29, 2013

None of this is relevant. CryeCSS uses Jira now which each project will have a very easy issue reporter embedded into the page.

MoarDammit2 Alpha Update 0.15

published on Oct 29, 2013

Hallelujah! Update 0.15, the update which has the most features that improve user experience. I've worked hard on this update, it's a partial update as some features aren't activated yet. I'm sure you'll still enjoy this update as the only features that are disabled are authentication ones. Here's a list of the new features and fixes. CHANGELOG -0.15 Additions Custom Scaling for SWF added Shards to prettify the fader screen. Reporting of SWF's Direct SWF link within user panel Highlight SWF in favorites area if on that number. Authentication Authentication security - one login Continue cookie...

Bug Squashing and Bug Tracker & Update progress

published on Oct 25, 2013

To push along the whole idea of making it easier for users to report bugs with the site I've added a bug tracker to Cryecss.net. You can find the tracker here([REDACTED]). It's a much needed feature, plus you can see the development of the site by what's broken and fixed. As time progresses 0.15 is closer to release. I'm at a part in the development where it's possible to release, but with this it doesn't have much use or change other than some minor fixes and requests. As in, there is authentication now, it works and has some nice features with it. The problem I've come across though is that ...

MoarDammit 2 Pre-Alpha Update 0.13

published on Aug 06, 2013

It's been a while, and with that time comes a big list of fixes and additions. Every update you can always check the help section on the left panel. This also holds all the possible hotkeys you can use on the site. This update was only tested on Chrome & Firefox. The other browsers will see fixes in update 0.14. Additions: UIFader - Fades the site after some time, similar to pressing F8. Audio-Mode - Pressing A on your keyboard will bring in the fader and allow music to play without the swf showing Favorites (Local only) - Add/Remove Favorites by pressing F or the button in the menu More robu...

MoarDammit 2 Pre-Alpha Update 0.12

published on Jun 25, 2013

Well so far I'd like to say that the site is coming along nicely. It's shaping up great and so far is keeping it's cross browser compatibility. There's some bug with the system for IE in the prealpha that doesn't exist in the dev version and that's having authorization issues. I can't see as to why it's having this error but here's the fixes that were released from the last version. Fixed hide swf's Fixed restarting swf's Fixed layering in firefox, opera, IE, and safari Fixed Tab shifting Fixed bug with loader rotation Fixed browser compatibility with embed/iframe tag Fixed Epilepsy warning b...

The state of CryeCSS Games

published on Jun 23, 2013

This post contains depressing information. Okay, so you're still reading. The state of the games projects within CryeCSS is just on a perpetual stall due to the continues inconsistency in development, as well as hours that I can put into development. Believe it or not it's impossible to build a game from a laptop that only has 11.5 inches of screen real estate and integrated graphics. CryEngine burns up my laptop, and is ungodly slow. UDK just about the same, except it's a little better. Unity results in the same lag, but it's just inconvenient to try to program a game on my laptop when you ca...

MoarDammit 2

The site that brought many hours of enjoyment is now due for it's yearly upgrade, and this is a huge upgrade. I anticipate this upgrade taking more than a few months to bring to completion, but so far it's well off and more than ready for basic usage by the public. Redesigning the CryeCSS page allows me to experiment with URL manipulation and get more experience with never reloading pages. This site comes with many features that the first site didn't have, and it'll expand on the features the first site already had. The first site had an upvote/downvote system that was just for visual appeal,...

The more updated Plan

published on May 24, 2013

Back in April I posted information about the state of CryeCSS and which projects were getting pushed around and brought up to the front. The site redesign was the highest on the list and that's finally out in the public! I'm really happy with this update as it really feels comfortable, and it's much faster compared to the previous website. Comes with this site though is a color definition for the site, as well as a shiny new logo to display. Another thing to note is the URL scheme used on the new site, it no longer requires hash tags to do everything. It's all done via hard URL's. This combin...

The Plan

Now probably some of you are wondering what's going on with Slender: Reincarnation, Infectum, and Empires. Well to be honest Slender is by the furthest to being released due to the simplicity of the game within the game engine limitations. I find myself designing the projects, but never being able to find the time to actually develop and put forth time and love to completing the projects to the fullest extent. This is exactly what happened with Random Site back in the day when it was a very ambitious site. It's actually almost exactly what stumbleupon is today, except with a few more features ...
