MoarDammit 2 Pre-Alpha Update 0.13

published on Aug 06, 2013

It's been a while, and with that time comes a big list of fixes and additions. Every update you can always check the help section on the left panel. This also holds all the possible hotkeys you can use on the site. This update was only tested on Chrome & Firefox. The other browsers will see fixes in update 0.14. Additions: UIFader - Fades the site after some time, similar to pressing F8. Audio-Mode - Pressing A on your keyboard will bring in the fader and allow music to play without the swf showing Favorites (Local only) - Add/Remove Favorites by pressing F or the button in the menu More robu...

MoarDammit 2 Pre-Alpha Update 0.12

published on Jun 25, 2013

Well so far I'd like to say that the site is coming along nicely. It's shaping up great and so far is keeping it's cross browser compatibility. There's some bug with the system for IE in the prealpha that doesn't exist in the dev version and that's having authorization issues. I can't see as to why it's having this error but here's the fixes that were released from the last version. Fixed hide swf's Fixed restarting swf's Fixed layering in firefox, opera, IE, and safari Fixed Tab shifting Fixed bug with loader rotation Fixed browser compatibility with embed/iframe tag Fixed Epilepsy warning b...

The state of CryeCSS Games

published on Jun 23, 2013

This post contains depressing information. Okay, so you're still reading. The state of the games projects within CryeCSS is just on a perpetual stall due to the continues inconsistency in development, as well as hours that I can put into development. Believe it or not it's impossible to build a game from a laptop that only has 11.5 inches of screen real estate and integrated graphics. CryEngine burns up my laptop, and is ungodly slow. UDK just about the same, except it's a little better. Unity results in the same lag, but it's just inconvenient to try to program a game on my laptop when you ca...

MoarDammit 2

The site that brought many hours of enjoyment is now due for it's yearly upgrade, and this is a huge upgrade. I anticipate this upgrade taking more than a few months to bring to completion, but so far it's well off and more than ready for basic usage by the public. Redesigning the CryeCSS page allows me to experiment with URL manipulation and get more experience with never reloading pages. This site comes with many features that the first site didn't have, and it'll expand on the features the first site already had. The first site had an upvote/downvote system that was just for visual appeal,...

MOARDAMMIT.COM :: THE BACK BUTTON

published on Aug 21, 2012

Phew, I finished doing all this stuff around midnight and couldn't take the time to write this entire post out. So here I'll go over what's new and what I did. Alright so the voting system from the last post I made on facebook has changed for the better. When I first made it I didn't consider the math involved in going from an upvote to a downvote. I've essentially removed the neutral option with this fix, but now you can change your vote from +1 to -1 and not just +1 to 0 or -1 to 0. A minor fix, but some people enjoy being able to change their vote from positive to negative. You can access ...

MOARDAMMIT.COM :: Updates to linking structure and submissions!

published on Aug 20, 2012

Well that's a big assumption now. Well it's pretty good if you ask me. So today I finally got one of the biggest things out of the way. Submission of SWF's by anyone! While at the same time being easy for me, and safe for the site! If you're wondering how you can get to the newly created submission page you can head on over to MOARDAMMIT.com pull down the menu and click on "upload". You'll be taken to a page that allows you to upload the SWF. Then you'll have to wait for it to be accepted. In due time I"ll make it so you'll be emailed, but for right now you'll have to just guess when it's up....

MOARDAMMIT.COM :: The real flash gallery

published on Aug 19, 2012

Well ain't it just swell that I registered such an awesome domain name? Well anyway, with the new take on the site and finding that people actually enjoy a good flash gallery where there are no distractions or obstructions for the content. It's always been a goal of every site I make to make what's important, the content, easily available. The RandomSite was my first couple tries at this until it got too big for it's own good. Without the admin panel to manage the content, it got too bulky to manage and even make. Making it took up the most time, and I couldn't ever upload anything! Moar damm...

No matter how hard I try, I always manage to make something related to the random site. However this time I've taken preference to a specific type of media, which is SWF's. They're more entertaining than images and very easy to manage. There are plenty of SWF sites around the internets, but I feel that mine is pretty good compared to them. They're known as 'flash galleries' and pown.it is a pretty popular one, but has a terrible interface. Another one is m0ar.org, which is better than pown.it but still has a not-so-comfortable interface. In the past it was better, but they've went backwards. T...

Infectum Development

published on Mar 18, 2012

A large jump in development happened today. I've been working for the past 3 hours and yet again another couple pages have been added to the entire document. I'm proud to have developed the rough sketch of the look of Neomor, story, and finally finished off the Mechanics section of the document. It's quite a hefty section spanning around 15 pages. This will increase as the development continues so there is a central copy that holds all the information. It has proven to be worth it to type up this document as it has kept my ideas solid and will prove to be efficient when developing as all the i...
